LANGUAGE STUDY

We will discuss
- Why can learning a new language be a challenge?
- What is needed for successful language study?
- What does it mean to be "an active learner"?

and we will practise distinguishing between the sounds /æ/ (as in fan) and /^/ (as in fun),
and more interesting things from members.

Địa điểm: trường quay S10, đi cổng 844 Đê La Thành. (Các bạn đến cổng 844, nhớ xuống xe và nói với bảo vệ rằng các bạn đến tham dự Talk Show, hoặc có thể liên hệ với Lê Khánh để nhận vé mời: 0983845579)

Nhân vật là chị Eleanor, một nghệ sỹ Australia đã học chèo và quay về nước biểu diễn. Nay chị quay lại Việt Nam để tiếp tục sáng tác và biểu diễn môn nghệ thuật này. Trước khi bước vào phần talk, Eleanor sẽ có màn biểu diễn ngay tại trường quay.

Topic: An English Learner’s Literacy (Continued)

The students who attended the previous discussion on Learner’s Literacy will present their findings from an interview with a strange English learner. They will focus on the following guidelines.

- Interview procedure (brief)
- Description of the learner (brief)

Findings: (Phát hiện)
- Reading experience inside the classroom
- Reading experience outside the classroom
- Writing experience inside the classroom
- Writing experience outside the classroom
- Strategies that learners use in writing and learning
- Learner’s attitude towards writing and reading
- Lessons learned from the interview
